Terms & Conditions
The straightforward terms that govern your use of Wavense.
Last updated: 9 July 2026
By creating an account or using Wavense (“the service”), you agree to these terms. If you’re using Wavense on behalf of an organisation, you agree on its behalf.
What Wavense is
Wavense is an agentless exposure-management tool. You tell it what software you run and it matches that against public vulnerability data (NVD, CISA KEV, EPSS and similar), then ranks and explains the CVEs that affect you. It is informational — it does not scan, patch, or defend your systems, and it is not a substitute for a professional security assessment.
Your account
- Keep your sign-in email secure; you’re responsible for activity under your account.
- Provide accurate information, and don’t impersonate anyone else.
- You must be able to form a binding contract to use the service.
Acceptable use
Don’t use Wavense to:
- Break the law, or attack, probe, or disrupt systems you don’t own or aren’t authorised to test.
- Reverse-engineer, scrape at scale, or resell the service without permission.
- Upload malicious content, or attempt to compromise Wavense or other users.
Plans & billing
Wavense offers a free tier and paid plans (see Pricing). Paid features are billed as described at checkout when billing is available; prices may change with notice. Free-tier limits (such as the number of stacks) may be adjusted over time.
No warranty
The service and its vulnerability data are provided “as is.” Vulnerability intelligence is sourced from third parties and can be incomplete, delayed, or inaccurate; a match (or the absence of one) is not a guarantee that you are, or aren’t, affected. You are responsible for your own security decisions and remediation. We don’t warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Wavense is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any security incident, loss, or breach affecting your systems. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Changes
We may update these terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be reflected by the “last updated” date; continuing to use Wavense means you accept the current terms.
